FAQ
1. Protocol enforcement is now active. You MUST be running v5.0.1 core wallet as all wallets below this version is no longer compatible with the main network. So upgrade ASAP if you haven't done so already. Download from here:
https://github.com/PIVX-Project/PIVX/releases/tag/v5.0.12. You can now create new Shielded addresses in the Receive tab, and send or receive both Transparent or Shielded coins to it. You can "Shield" your own coins by sending it to your own Shielded address.
3. Shielded coins currently do not support staking nor can it be used as a masternode collateral. SHIED Staking support is currently in the works.
4. We are not aware of any exchanges that will support withdrawing to PIVX Shielded address as of yet. So you will need use Transparent addresses when withdrawing coins to your wallet. However, you will be able to send coins from your Shielded balance to the exchange's Transparent address.
5. When sending to a Shielded address, you can also attach an Encrypted Memo. The attached memo is only visible to the receiver and is not visible to anyone else.
