Что значит сиюминутно? Делаете политику. Start-ManagedFolderAssistant. Все сообщения, которые были отправлены\получены уходят в архив, если нет проблем сWorkLoadManagement

так тэг обрабатывает все таки дату получения письма? а то блогер говорит что дата считается когда тэг назначили

The retention age of mailbox items is calculated from the date of delivery or the date of creation for items such as drafts that are not delivered but created by the user. When the Managed Folder Assistant processes items in a mailbox, it stamps a start date and an expiration date for all items that have retention tags with the Delete and Allow Recovery or Permanently Delete retention action. Items that have an archive tag are also stamped with a move date.

Слышал. Но не понимаю что такое start date. Старт чего? И как этот старт связан с датой получения письма?

The GUID of the retention tag applied to the folder. Stamped on all
 folders. Outlook changes this property when the user explicitly tags a
 folder. Outlook updates all the subfolders with this tag’s GUID as well.

нет, если уже проставлен тэг не уберется, его явно удалять надо чтоб из политики он улетел

start date - это, по сути, дата применения политики.

И? Дальше что? Вот ты задал эти атрибуты. Как на их базе будет работать процесс архивации?

То есть для старых сообщений это две совсем разных даты. Какая из них роботом в процессе архивации используется? Дата применения политики (start date) или дата создания письма в папке (до того, как тэг на письмо приехал)?

A user receives an item in the Inbox folder on January 26, 2011.The Inbox folder does not have a retention tag applied, and the retention policy does not contain a default policy tag. The user soft-deletes the item on March 27, 2011. The item is then moved to the Deleted Items folder, which has a retention tag configured to delete items in 30 days. The Managed Folder Assistant processes the mailbox on March 27, 2011 and determines that the item does not have a start date. It stamps the current date as the start date, and April 27, 2011 as the expiration date.
The item will be deleted on April 27, 2011, which is 30 days after it was deleted or moved to the Deleted Items folder.
