Qtum is an open-sourced public blockchain platform, leveraging the security of UTXO while enabling multiple virtual machines including EVM and soon the revolutionary x86 VM. Qtum is PoS based and boasts a Decentralized Governance Protocol (DGP) allowing specific blockchain settings to be modified by making use of smart contracts. For instance, the block size of Qtum can be increased without the need of a hard fork. and we started the project in August 2016, and released the mainnet in September 2017. it's the first few public Blockchain in China and Asia.

yes for sure! i joined bitcoin industry since 2012 in Shanghai when i was preparing my PHD degree on Information system. i started as a bitcoin miner until 2015. and then dropped out my PHD and full time in crypto. i worked short time in Alibaba in 2015 then left Alibaba and build my own startup in crypto. then i started Qtum project in 2016 and full time in Qtum until now. for me, it's almost 8 years in crypto. 😊
