We’re a team of action first, https://unifiprotocol.com is currently the audited 100% on chain in smart contract AMM for trading, providing liquidity and mining rewards. Though UNFI just launched on Binance yesterday, uTrade is live on Tron, Ontology, Harmony and BSC today, with ICON and Eth versions ready to go!  This is one of the things that makes Unifi Protocol unique among other DeFi start up projects and even some other launchpool projects.  The working product is something we’re really proud of, Its a 100% built in house project, all of the smart contracts are completely independent of other AMM’s which allows for some pretty unique features within the greater Defi landscape that I believe sets us apart.

Unifi had well over $600M USD staked to its Launchpool listing.  I think this is a reflection of seeing the value in having a working product with so many major partners.  Unifi is of course great partners with Binance, and Binance Smart Chain, but we’ve partnered with several other major exchanges, media outlets, and blockchains.

UNFI is unique in DeFi in that it is a Proof of Stake style governance token which governs an entire multi-chain DeFi ecosystem.  This unique staking system will begin near the start of 2021.  To get UNFI holders used to earning staking rewards, Unifi has partnered with Binance Smart Chain to provide several other options to increase their UNFI holdings.  uTrade is offering two chances to earn UNFI.  UNFI holders can stake UNFI and share a portion of 25,000 UNFI tokens.  BSC users can also mine a share of another 25,000 UNFI by providing Cake and BNB as liquidity on uTrade.  Once the Global Governance System starts, UNFI stakers will be eligible for even more rewards for staking into the governance process.  We believe UNFI is at the top of one of the most sustainable DeFi token economies in all of DeFi.

Is uTrade the same as uniswap? If not, then how do you differ from it?

uTrade is not the same as Uniswap.  uTrade was completely designed by Sesameseed from scratch.  No part of it is cloned from Uniswap.  This gave Unifi great opportunities to improve over Uniswap food clones.  For example, uTrade tokenizes liquidity provider rewards, all transparently governed by a smart contract.  

The rewards token UP is blockchain specific and has a redemption value that can only go up when new UP are minted.  This means UP also has built in yield farming.  UP on all blockchains can migrate to UNFI, allowing liquidity providers to participate in multi-chain governance.  

uTrade is also unique in offering the multi-chain staking rewards token SEED as a loyalty reward to traders.  Honestly, we could spend this entire AMA just discussing how many improvements uTrade has over the Uniswap system.
