They'll be able to still control your money, freeze it and steal it from you. Also make you pay for services you don't want to or against through taxes. What changed? The speed the state may make your a better slave 🙁
Corruption will be on higher levels anyway, with bitcoin everyone is kinda "equal" in it's use, with controlled e-currency the higher letters of society will be utilizing and bending the system to their needs.
Corruption exists only in context of existing as state controlling what's good and not and people in charge of that control.
Otherwise there would have been agreements between people and salvations through the private (insurance? etc) companies.
