Hi leonid,
We are writing to tell you that the way we work together is going to change. You will still be able to use our services to get paid as reliably as before, but the way you access your funds is going to be a little different. Please read until the end for a full explanation.
What’s the reason for the change?
Russian regulators have instructed Mastercard that foreign card providers can no longer have cardholders in Russia. Unfortunately, this means that we are required to close our card service* for all customers with a Russian billing or shipping address on May 27th, 2020. We know this is unfortunate timing for a change like this, but we need to comply with this requirement.
How will I access my funds now?
Don’t worry, your funds are safe, and you will be able to withdraw them to your bank account in RUB, EUR, or USD. Until May 27th, you can continue to use your card the same way you have always used it. On May 27th, we will move any remaining funds from your cards to the foreign currency balances in your Payoneer account and you can withdraw them from there. All our other services will be available as usual.
What do I need to do?
These changes will happen automatically, but you’ll need to add your bank account to make withdrawals. We recommend doing this before May 27th for the smoothest experience. You will still be able to use other Payoneer services after May 27th even if you haven’t added your bank account yet. You should also take a moment to review the Terms and Conditions of your Payoneer services, which will continue to apply.
We are working to add new ways for you to withdraw and use your funds in Russia so stay tuned for more information. Please refer to this FAQ for more information about this update.
