0. Only allowed to leave home for purchase of essential items (food and medicine). 2 in a car rule is now applied. 10km rule applies.
1. Essential service list: F&B, including animals, healthcare services, animal clinics, veterinary services, water and power industry, security (defense, humanitarian aid), waste disposal, transportation, ports and airports, storage of commodities, communications (including internet, post, TV, news), banking, insurance, community credit (pajak gadai), e-commerce and IT, fossil fuels, hotels (only for quarantine and not for vacations), critical construction, forestry enforcement, logistics limited to essential services. Details to be provided.
2. All factories are not allowed, excluding: Aerospace, F&B, packing and printing related to F&B, self care, healthcare related. Working capacity: Limited to 60% only. Reminder to factories to comply with the 60% capacity. Sabri is aware of the factories that were not complying to this rule prior to this. If this happens, please make a report to the HR ministry and PDRM.
3. Agriculture, fishing, livestock and its chains are allowed to open. Including fertilizers. Palm oil sector is permitted to operate.
4. Construction: Critical projects allowed including those that are for the construction of housing of workers. Example: Kampung roads construction allowed to continue.
5. Shopping Malls: Complete closure except for grocery stores and F&B.
6. Hypermarket: Allowed to operate, limited to F&B, basic requirement sections only. Clothing sections are to be closed.
7. Minimart, pharmacies, etc, allowed to operate.
8. Restaurants, gerai allowed to operate for take-away. Same as the current SOP.
9. Laundry allowed.
10. Animal food allowed. Optical shops allowed.
11. Hardware shops allowed.
12. Car mechanics allowed.
13. E-commerce sector allowed to operate.
14. Applicable throughout the country.
UPDATE 1:
15. Markets allowed, including FAMA pasar tani. Starting at 6am. Pasar borong allowed. 12am-6am.
16. Petrol stations: 6am-8pm.
17. Pasar Malam not allowed. Pasar tani biasa not allowed.
18. Tadika, taska not allowed. Excluding for frontliners and parents whom both are working.
19. Private kindergartens not permitted including that of international schools.
Individual sports limited to jogging and individual exercise. Latest time: 8pm.
20. ALL MITI letters are no longer valid after 31/5. Can no longer use MITI letters, including for interstate.
Future letters will only be issued by respective ministries and no longer by MITI.
