Feedback
Telegram moderators always receive detailed feedback whenever we feel they did something wrong. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to give feedback about your particular choices during this multi-stage test – otherwise it would take us too long to process the results.
Don’t worry, your intuition and ability to make your own decisions took you this far – and that’s exactly what we’re looking for. You can teach people to use very detailed sets of criteria, but you can’t teach them to use their heart if they don’t already know how. We have a feeling that you might.
Task 3
A moderator needs speed and clarity of mind, but also stamina and endurance. In this task, you will be facing a lot more content than any single person can manage on their own. We’re offering you to take care of as much of it as you can.
The task comes in three parts. You are already familiar with sorting articles into news and categories – both these activities are part of this task. The third part will be sorting news items into threads. You will get more details and criteria when this becomes available.
This task is a real-life example of something a Telegram moderator might need to do to help our algorithms make better sense of publicly available content. Just like real-life Telegram moderators, you will be the master of your own time and schedule.
Rewards
This task will take several days (or more, up to you; but unlikely longer than a week). For this reason we would like to reimburse you for the time you take to complete it:
- EUR 0.08 per each 10 articles sorted into news/non-news,
- EUR 0.15 per each 10 articles sorted into categories,
- EUR 0.03 per each 10 articles sorted into threads.
For operational purposes, payouts start at EUR 50. To receive your reward, you will need to have a bank account that can accept a transfer in EUR.
