I would like to draw your attention to the current situation in Belarus (Eastern Europe), where HUMAN RIGHTS are brutally violated these days, especially during president elections scheduled for 9-AUG-2020.
Specifically, very popular local leader, entrepreneur and famous blogger SERGEI TIHANOVSKIY was imprisoned number of times.
SERGEI has tremendous support among Belarus nation and has more than 200k+ subscribers on youtube, where he continuously reveals what’s going on in Belarus in reality, emphasizing criminal negligence caused by current government leader, dictator A.LUKASHENKO. On 29-MAY-2020, SERGEI was illegally captured in the center of the city GRODNO by police, sponsored by local dictatorship.
The action was clearly unlawful, with the only one goal - imprison SIARGEI and don’t let him talk, spread real information about the elections and alternatives to A.LUKASHENKO.
He was captured without any notice, any prove. Police just took him away for nothing.
We have strong opinion, that A.LUKASHENKO and his circles (about 850 people) threaten SIARGEI’s health, freedom and identity as a human.
We have a lot of video material proving his HUMAN RIGHTS were violated multiple times.
Please:
⁃ help Belarus people get SERGEI back to freedom, to normal life by putting this issue on top of news and your communication channels
⁃ escalate the problem through formal channels to BELARUS current government representatives
⁃ develop potential action plan on international level, that allows Belarus people to mainstream their HUMAN RIGHTS to talk, express opinions on political scene
