Moonsoon in-depth tutorial
Emilis Baltrusaitis is recently partnered with
Yiihuu.com in order to create an in-depth tutorial focusing on his recent artwork 'Monsoon'.
The focus of this tutorial is to single-handedly create a professional looking image that would normally take a team of artists to accomplish. The techniques used, both 2D and 3D are designed to provide us with the best possible result in the shortest amount of time.
In addition to creating the concept, Emilis shows how to transform it into a moving digital matte painting composited with other effects. The tutorial is 24 hours long and runs through the entire process in great detail.
