Frankly, we have not a funny story with those elephants :( we ordered these plushie toys here in Ukraine and gave them to speakers as a gift. Only after that the license holder contacted us with threats that we broke the law by producing those elephants.
We didn’t know it was forbidden and that person has never replied to our emails again (we tried to settle the conflict and explained to him that it was just several toys and not for the commercial use). So, we stopped right after we’ve started 😄

We were thinking of ordering the licensed elephants to our conference, but the terms were too long (2 or 3 months) and the minimal order with our logo was bigger than we could have handled then 🙂

That soulds complicated and unfortunate

Just change the name of elephant to Laminas
