OP slate?

A small rom review....

Tried most of the roms.
For a most stable long life rom, PE pie is the best. Battery is getting up to 9 to 10 sot without gaming.( Normal use). The best part is that it does not drop a single percentage during night. This rom is not good for playing games. Even wcc2 lags. If you want to play pubg smooth, then flash chimera, or need to do kernel tweak in kernel auditor. But it will reduce battery life.this is the most stable rom, I've ever used.
This rom also got a high media and speaker volume for may 2019 build.

If you are good gamer, then try lineage os pie, I used the darshans one. Rom is so smooth. Good battery life too. But no customisation.this is the second most rom I've liked. But the speaker and media volume is bit low.

For customisation , use havoc or superior os. In havoc battery is draining so fast.but it is good for gaming.
In superior os, everything is stable, but I found the phone heating a lot while playing games. Even browsing net or Dailyhunt will heat the device a bit. I've changed the kernel to Jasper and there was a bit low in heating.battery will last longer than superior.

Among Oreo roms, crdroid by diffr is the best. Best in customisation and battery life, compromising the gameplay.

Among nougat, viper is the best among the segment. Butter smooth. But speaker volume is low during call.

About launchers, I like the pixel launcher most. It's like so smooth. But no customisation. Second is lawn chair.lot of customisation. Almost same as pixel launcher.i like the interface and theming of lawnchair, but a bit laggy while restarting phone, or quit from heavy games.
Lineage launcher is also good.

If PE pie comes with white notification like lineage, then it will be good. Dark notifications in dark theme is annoying while in white background.
