Dear Madam,
please be informed that foreigners do not need a tourist visa if they go to Mexico for tourism or business purposes for less than 180 days and they have one of the following documents:
a) Valid permanent residence card issued by Canada, the United States of America, Japan, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, or any of the countries that form the Schengen Area *.
* Polish residence card should be translated into Spanish.
* Polish permanent residence cards are those that carry the permit described as “osiedlenie się” or “pobyt stały” and are issued for 10 years.
b) Valid visa of the United States of America.
c) Valid multiple entry visa from one of the countries that form the Schengen Area (the validity of the visa must cover the entire period of staying in Mexico).
In case of not having any of the above listed documents, it is required to apply for a visa at the Embassy by presenting the following:
1. Original and simple copy of the valid passport.
2. Fulfilled visa application (attached).
3. A recent color front picture (not older than 30 days), with white background, visible face and without glasses, size 35x45mm.
4. In case of not being a Polish citizen, it is required to present the original and a simple copy of the document proving the legal status in Poland (Polish visa or residence card).
5. Prove the financial solvency by presenting one of the following options:
a) Original and copy of the documents that demonstrate that you have a job or pension with monthly income free of encumbrances bigger than the equivalent of 100 days of the general minimum wage in the Federal District (equivalent to 600 euros approx.), during the last three months. The documentation to be presented to prove the economic solvency of this section are the monthly payroll or pension receipts, the monthly bank account statements (with the original stamp of the banking institution) showing the income of the payroll or pension of the corresponding months (they should be account statements for each month, not global nor quarterly reports) and proof of stable employment with a minimum of one year seniority.
b) Original and copy of proof of investments or bank accounts with average monthly balance equivalent to 300 days of general minimum wage in the Federal District (equivalent to 1800 euros approx.), during the last three months. They should be statements of each month, not global nor quarterly reports.
c) In the case of foreigners who study regularly in higher education institutions, it is required to present an original proof of studies and an original proof of stable employment, pension or scholarship with monthly income equivalent to 60 days of general minimum wage in the Federal District (equivalent to 350 euros approx.), during the last three months.
6. Pay the consular fee of USD44.00 (cash, US dollars, tickets in good conditions).
It is required to present the financial solvency proof with its translation into Spanish or English.
Every document (except passport) issued in country other than Poland or Mexico should be legalized/apostilled.

The issuance of the visa is subjected to the result of the consular interview and the decision on your entry to Mexico will depend on the immigration authorities upon arrival.
