в принципе, да, там только для options и нужно это, для остальных уже указывает явно тип запроса

В принципе ты можешь поставить мидлтварь в основном стеке, которая ловит 405, забирает у него header и отдает 200 с ним. При условии что в риквесте OPTIONS

похоже на костыль ), так как для другой группы где не нужно cors, при 405 так же будет отдавать 200

Только при OPTIONS, а на него не должен отдаваться 405 вроде вообще
