Let me pick some questions for our guests :)

1) If I know a bit about programming languages, wouldn't it be difficult to use your solution if I'm not a professional creator of Dapps?

2) Why should developers use data from the Graph network and pay for it instead of using free, accessible APIs?

3) How is the issue of issuing new tokens resolved?

4) TheGraph is currently running on Ethereum.

But as we know, ETH has a lot of scalability issues.

So, why did you choose Ethereum? Do you have any plans to launch your own blockchain?

The point of subgraphs is that they are open source and accessible by anyone - meaning a developer doesn't need to duplicate redundant API work that another developer has done - for example with the Uniswap subgraph if you're querying for Uniswap data. Using subgraphs also reduces costs/time for developers since you dont need to run your own server or write custom code - its more economically efficient to pay query fees processed by decentralized indexers than to index the data in a centralized way!

5) After reading an article about Delegation Rewards, I had a question. Why would anyone choose an indexer that doesn't have the highest volume with the lowest percentage of commissions and rewards? Will it cause polarization inside the network?

1) Great question! Right now anyone can be a Curator. It is true that you will have to understand a little bit about subgraphs in order to be a good Curator. If you know a bit about programming languages, you are already in a good place, and you should be able to contribute. I think what is interesting with Web 3 is that these new types of jobs are being created, like being a Curator. Although it might take some initial effort to learn how to be a Curator, it is a brand new role! So if you spend a month learning how to be a Curator, you might already be one of the best in the world!

6) Could you briefly explain which milestones TheGraph is planning to achieve by the end of this year?

7) Many projects are working and creating their own NFTs, so I am wondering if you are working in this side as well?

4) Ethereum was chosen as it is the blockchain where the most development is happening, and it is great to be part of such an active ecosystem. It is true that ETH is pretty slow right now. We do have plans to address scaling. That could be upgrading to ETH 2, or migrating part of our protocol to an L2, or ever starting our own blockchain, possibly with something like Polkadot or Cosmos.

We are currently researching all of these potential solutions 😁!

The next major milestones for The Graph are bootstrapping demand (subgraphs) on the decentralized network and launching curation - so individuals can signal the highest quality subgraphs to indexers. An updated explorer and gateway will also be released for simpler payments.

Moreover, we actually just announced that The Graph is exploring integrations with other L1 chains like bitcoin, polkadot, solana, near, cosmos, celo and binance smart chain - to enable *all* Web3 developers to query data using subgraphs. 3) 10 billion tokens were created at network launch. New tokens are only issued through the inflation of the protocol, which is currently at 3%. So in a year we will have 10.3 Billion tokens. The inflation can change through governance
