Ну т.е. я ceph-fuse монтирую -o allow_other, а мне всё равно на файл, которым я не владею, говорят EPERM

в прямом. для сервера удаленный хост --- недоверенный, т.е. контроль пермишенов должен осуществлять сервер, а не клиент

проверь что у тебя стоят дефолтные umask & mp_umask

в идеале ещё чтобы монтировалось так, чтобы все файлы всегда клались в цеф под определённым юзером и группой и не сохраняли исходную

потестировал, у меня allow_other нормально работает
