I get this issue while writing a new excel file in Shared drive. Has anyone faced this issue. Any advise is appreciated.
I faced similar issue, while saving the file directly to the shared folder, as an alternative, I saved file to the local drive first and then moved it to the shared drive

After saving in local drive can u kill the excel process and then move to shared drive.

If u haven't saved that perticular file to the shared folder yet, there is no way it could have been opened there yet right?

Yeah!! But what if shared drive is having access for multiple users and one of the user has opened the file

In my case, to avoid such, I am renaming the file with current date n time and then moving the file to the shared folder

That being said, i am not sure if u are trying to overwrite the existing file in shared drive?? In which case, you might want to lock the folders before u run the bot... not sure on it though..

Workaround to Move folders will be my last resort. That will involve quite a few design changes from my side. Hence looking for a solution

No clue on that.. sorry.. I couldn't make it work that way, so took the alternative..
Np. Thanks for responding back. Btw replacing excel scope with workbook and adding delay between read and write have solved my issue. The latency in shared drive was causing issue.
