This clarification doesn't matter, we already saw cases how people who broadcast to big public said about death of October and how founders converted project to Winter. Because of titles like that

Your title is misleading. October is not dead. And Alexey and Sam does not say anything so controversial to Winter.... Yet...

I don't claim to be the founder of October, so if someone is calling maintainers founders, then that's their mistake. Alexey and Sam are saying controversial things, trying to frame it as a disgagreement about money and how it was a a greedy takeover attempt, which is wildly inaccurate.

И тут пришло понимание, что 30+ сайтов тупо остались без обновлений, которые раньше просто по клику в админке работали.  И не надо рассказывать про обновления безопасности для  v1, всем понятно что никто не будет этим заниматься, будет развиваться только последняя версия.

The point was that Winter side shouldn't do things like that.  Because there are a lot of people who can understand things differently,

Just work on your project, work on a unique features and ecosystem that people would love winter for,.

Writing controversial blog posts and sending spam newsletter to leaked user base is not a good start.

While it would have been easier for the Sam & Alexey if I did just that, people needed to know what was going on and what options they had available to them. I've already had multiple people thank me for sending that email because they had no idea that any of this was going on.

Since Sam decided to just ban me (and anyone else that mentions Winter) from every single October community, sending an email was the only way to reach much of the October community. I'm not sure how much the russian community is aware, since you have your own advocates and closer ties to Alexey, but I put in a lot of work growing the October community while I was with the project, and a lot of people using October knew me as the face of the project given Sam & Alexey's lack of communication and active involvement with the project.

Yes, the title is controversial and designed to grab the readers attention, it's marketing; that's its purpose. Obviously we're not planning on running attack ads against October, but lets not pretend that October has handled this perfectly without fault on their side either.
