Haha like Transfer learning;)) but i think the casual relation here goes from politics to economy, not from economy to politics

So what I think has happened — he hasn’t cared to learn the specifics, the high int’l relations part. So he was passing through via business skills but wasn’t great because, let’s say, it’s kinda like an NN architecture trained on kinda wrong dataset

But the results were not adorable

The result of a model is important

So it’s gonna work to an extent, if datasets are similar, but it’s not gonna work great because you didn’t care to fit it

But fitting it is not the same as learning from scratch

You think being good at economy isn't a valuable perk for a politician? Really?

I didn’t say it

Its workin on the train-set but not generalized actually

Maybe u can find a specific sample that he did a great job but in general he sucked

I think u are makin decisions from the details to the whole, but its impossible

So here’s exactly what happened. Actually the fact that he even got elected means that in general he was qualified enough to lead the campaign — and then, I see it as kinda trying to rush the things through, those things he considered important, on his prior skillset plus a support net, in part because he isn’t really aiming to stay in politics for decades. And it definitely failed often, but also achieved some results in other cases, sometimes partial results. Maybe that was because of lack of time, maybe laziness, maybe arrogance, who knows.
But I kinda can relate to this approach as a generalist — a lil bit of tis and dat here and there has brought me everywhere :)

Also this means that pesonally you, if you happen to want it, after a few years of experience in tech, in teamlead/senior positions — I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to switch to politics if you decide to.

:)) but here the distribution of dataset is varying:) the input of a model is affected by the model too

I personally would probably brush up on some jurisprudence and gov’t courses plus got a good advisor in this case

With a good set of transferable skills at hand, most things are fugureoutable.
